    Hello,

Are you still doing freelance work?

I’ve got a bit of an overflow of work at the moment and could do with someone local to help.

If you’re keen, could you give me some examples of work you’ve done?

    Thanks,

    Jon

Hi Ross – wanted to say thanks for your article “Remove index.php from URL” – fixed a problem that has been frustrating me for months!

Now in process of testing features of Joomla 2.5 in preparation for rebuilding my Joomla 1.5 site. However have found that my (2.5) site URL includes the ID of the second category in the path (WTF?!)

Any tips for removing this? Research so far makes me think this is more difficult than it should be!

    Regards, Mal.

  3. Hi Ross

Thanks for putting “Remove index.php from URL” up – I have tried to implement and have across a problem – While the urls have shortened as desired the pages are not linked anymore – as per website attached. I’ve had a play and can’t see what is wrong.

I don’t have an option for apache in my global configuration set-up and I’m pretty sure I’ve done everything correctly!

I’ll continue to have a play – if you get a chance to have a look, I’d appreciate it!

    Hi,

I also tried this but I get a 500 Internal server error. Any chance you can help me further with this?

    Much appreciated.
